Yes. Because our facade systems (Stone, Brick, and Wood) are engineered to be 75–90% lighter than traditional full-bed masonry, they can be securely installed over wood framing with cement board, metal studs, existing brick, or EIFS (stucco) substrates. This makes them the definitive solution for retrofitting an aging exterior without the need for structural foundation modifications.
While cladding is not a replacement for primary building insulation, our high-density stone and brick systems add significant "thermal mass" to the building envelope. This helps regulate temperature fluctuations by slowing the transfer of heat, contributing to a more energy-efficient and thermally stable structure through extreme seasonal shifts.
Our systems are designed for zero-maintenance architectural longevity. Unlike natural wood sidings that require bi-annual staining or natural stone that may need regular sealing to prevent salt staining (efflorescence), our options are inert and color-stable. A simple occasional wash with water is all that is required to maintain the original geological or organic character.
