The Hamlet is a 6 inch Craftsman exterior window and door trim with a broad face and softened edges.

A square top with a small cove leads into a wide flat face, a fine bead and a curved foot at 3/4 inch. Its 2-1/4 inch projection gives solid presence while the detailing stays understated.

Wood Craftsman casing warps and needs painting, and PVC versions chalk and expand on sun-facing walls. The Hamlet's cement coated composite stays stable and low maintenance on stucco, brick, stone veneer and ICF. It can be curved for arched openings.
