Quinte Exterior Cornice Molding

$78.18 per 8' Length ($9.77/Ft)
Height: 7-/1/8 inches
Depth: 4-3/4 inches
Bottom: 1 inch

The Quinte is an exterior cornice molding defined by a classic ogee profile with a historic look. Its 4.75 inch projection suits residential rooflines and grand window headers alike, using horizontal steps to frame a central flowing curve.

This profile can be custom modified or shaped into arches to suit site needs. It has the appearance of hand-cut limestone, with a low-maintenance, crack-resistant finish that combines old-world craftsmanship with modern durability.

Technical Specifications +

Profile: 7-/1/8 inches high, 4-3/4 inches top depth, 1 inch bottom depth.

Core Material: EPS foam core (ASTM C578 Type I) with a polymer-modified cementitious coating, approx. 3/16 in thick, reinforced with alkali-resistant fiberglass mesh.

Moisture & Movement: Moisture-inert core that won't rot; near-zero joint expansion; designed for freeze-thaw exposure.

Weight: A fraction of the weight of precast concrete. Standard lengths can be installed by one person, with no heavy wall reinforcement or lifting equipment.

Installation: Exterior adhesive, with mechanical fasteners where the Mouldex installation guidelines require. For stucco, EIFS, brick, stone veneer, siding and ICF.

Finishing: Arrives in a uniform cement-gray finish. Prime, then paint with a quality exterior acrylic latex paint or texture.

Fire: Fire-rated options are available on request with a Class A fire rating (flame spread 25, smoke developed 110) that helps meet ASTM E-84 and UL 263.

Customization: CNC-cut to custom profiles, arches and ellipticals, typically within 7 to 10 business days of design approval.
