StoneRox is a manufactured stone veneer: a blend of concrete, lightweight aggregates and iron oxide pigments, cast in moulds taken from real natural stone and hand-coloured piece by piece for a realistic look. The result captures the texture and character of quarried stone at a fraction of the weight.
The Lightweight Advantage: Simple Installation
The most transformative feature of StoneRox is its weight, or lack thereof. At 10 to 12 pounds per square foot (well under 15), StoneRox offers real benefits:

No Support Ledge or Footings: Unlike traditional full-bed stone, which needs a support ledge or dedicated foundation, thin StoneRox veneer is adhered to the wall. Exterior installs typically go over plywood, and it can also be applied over sound masonry, concrete or stucco. This makes it an ideal solution for renovations and design updates.

Space Saving: At 1 to 3 inches thick, compared with roughly 4 inches for full-bed stone, StoneRox saves up to about 3 inches of space around the perimeter in new construction.
